Nathaniel Joseph established itself as a Furniture and Interiors company in 2002. Managing Director and founder Nathan Palmer tells his story:
“I was brought up in the industry. My father was a property developer and my mother was an interior designer, so I learnt first hand about the different skills, trades and designs that would go into creating a dream home. My love for creating, making and designing things therefore started at a very early age. I decided I wanted to focus on furniture making, trained in Furniture Design and Production and soon after qualifying set up my own Furniture business.”
“My passion was to produce furniture that was different to what the high street stores had to offer, furniture that was unique and cutting edge rather than mass produced. Influenced by architects Frank Lloyd Wright and Zaha Hadid as well as the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements, I came up with my own style of creating furniture, one which was pleasing to the eye as well as being unique, long lasting, functional, practical, well made and durable. In 2002 I decided I wanted to compliment my furniture designs by offering a Complete Interiors Service. It was then that Nathaniel Joseph Furniture & Interiors was born.”
